The steaks and Lasagna was excellent and the servers and bartender were great. Alison and Caleb were the best I have seen in the business. Fast, friendly service from them all. If you are in Tupelo and fail to have a meal here you are missing out on the best Tupelo has to offer.

Food was absolutely amazing. It was my first visit but it came highly recommended by people in the area. They have the best crab cakes I’ve ever eaten anywhere. I ordered the special with was fillet mignon and baked potato with Alfredo and Parmesan cheese. Absolutely delicious. I can’t say enough about it. Also the chef sent out some bbq ribs to or table at no charge just to try. The meat was falling off the bone delicious. My entire group would give the same review. Also the service was as good as the food. You best believe the next time I’m in Tupelo I’ll be at Nautical Whimsey! ❤️❤️❤️

First visit, lunch buffet was excellent. I have become a bit of a downtown dweller since moving to Tupelo and have tried many of the main street restaurants. I really like the warm decor and friendly staff.

Great food with HUGE portions! They offer indoor or outdoor seating & there was a very cool vibe outdoors with live music provided by local guitar artist Blake Dixon. They said they have live music every Fri.

Me and my husband celebrated our 7 year anniversary here this Saturday. First time eating here for The both of us. The food here is AAAMAAZING! Huge portions, friendly staff. The front is like a pub setting where they have the bar and live music but also have a dining area in the back if you want to enjoy a quiet dinner. Its also not badly priced. For how much food you get its actually cheap. Definitely exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be back.

Hands down, one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. The lasagna is a MUST. It has what seems like an alfredo sauce surrounding the dish, an enormous portion for only $15 could easily feed 3. The fried cheese appetizer is another absolute must, massive chunks of cheese, as big as my fist, with a delicious crispy breading and an amazing parm marinara dipping sauce.The bartender, Caleb is professional but very down to earth, otherwise fantastic service. It has a rustic feel- inside and out, with a romantic alleyway outside that is a beautiful place for a date. It's my 4th time eating here and I will absolutely return! Bravo!!

Cheese sticks were amazing, could have made a meal of these by themselves. Home made pizza, excellent. Filet, huge cut, delicious, out of this world potato. Excellent food and service. Quaint little restaurant.

I got the shrimp fettucine Alfredo and I can not rave about it enough. First of all, the serving size, I'm talking I'll be eating this for days. Second, the Alfredo is so clearly homemade and so fresh. Best Alfredo sauce I've ever had. Perfectly cooked fettucine and sauteed shrimp. Excellent. Won't get my pasta fix from anywhere else.

Nautical Whimsy is almost worth the trip from Memphis on its own. The lasagna way so flavorful and baked "just right". The portion, if I can complain about one thing, is too large. My companion and I split one and we still couldn't finish it.The crème brulée was so good looking I wasted no time to dig in. Mine was chocolate! I made a comment we should get a large marshmallow to wipe all the good stuff from the ramekin! You can't beat that. The wait staff all worked together, and the servers were all attentive to us.A special occasion? No need, just get down there and enjoy yourselves.

The alley way is a beautiful place to enjoy a delicious drink. The courthouse is at the end of this historical well lit alley. The only thing that ruined this experience was the black Tahoe parked right in the way of the wonderful view

If you're gonna make parmesan chicken WITH CHICKEN STRIPS, (which is super weird and not right), make sure the chicken strips' breading is at least seasoned! These are some of the most plain-tasting chicken strips I've EVER had in my life. The spaghetti they came in tasted pretty good, so it was surprising that the chicken strips didn't pick up any of the flavoring from it. The fried cheese appetizer was delicious, and so was the bruschetta.

Mouth watering delicious melt in your mouth food. For lunch they have a buffet and have different items on certain days of the week. It’s not expensive for a lunch buffet. Now let’s get into going there at night. My favorite is their filet steak. I cannot put into words how delicious and melt in your mouth this filet is. They have an outstanding menu and add stuff.

OMG! I can't even describe how good this is. Everything one the menu is authentic with a nice size portion.

Fantastic food, great service, and if you have to wait, it's worth every moment you wait. I ordered the prosciutto scampi. Absolutely delicious. The serve was friendly and corrected a mistake that was made in the best way possible. Look forward to driving three hours again just to eat here.

The atmosphere is family and down to earth. We got the fried cheese and it's a block of cheesey goodness! And the meatball on my spaghetti was as big as my fist. Will have to come back and try other dishes. Well worth the money.

3.5 is more appropriate. The food is excellent. Huge portions for the entrees. Service is ok. The wait staff is friendly. In my mind what detracts from here is only a couple of things. First is the menu. It is not complete. Other patrons were ordering and receiving items not listed. There wasn't a "specials" menu posted if that is what was being ordered. Second, the entrees are only entrees and do not come with any sides. The last thing would be that there is not any bread served with the meal. I know that these are small complaints, but I think it takes away from the overall experience. This was my first visit, but I will be back for a huge helping of probably the best lasagna I've ever had.

Atmosphere was comfortable with a pleasant guitar player in the corner. We were able to be hear well without the music overpowering the atmosphere. The place was packed out so we sat at the bar which was quite comfortable. The fried cheese was amazing and the lemondrops were on par but the rest of food was unpleasant and unauthentic. If they'd focus more on quality instead of quantity, it might do them well. If I'm back in town, I'll stop by for the fried cheese and a beer but will steer clear for main entrees.

Fantastic service and even better food. I do not like going out to eat Italian because it's the food I grew up learning to cook. Honestly blown away by the quality and overall taste. Portions are generous and you're getting more than your money's worth. I recommend the vodka cream sauce. Literal 10/10

Fried Roma tomatoes were delicious. The eggplant parmesan was silky soft and flavorful; however it came with TOO much spaghetti. The marinara was like tomato paste and tasted fresh from the can with little added seasoning. Portions are HUGE! Got tired of eating it.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing with both quality of food and portions!Not one person had a negative thing to say in our party of six.We collectively had toasted ravioli and fried mozzarella as appetizers, Italian wedding soup, chicken parmesan, spinach chicken alfredo, lobster ravioli, shrimp gnocchi, and lasagna - all highly recommended!Although not particularly busy, service was great!Will definitely come back - just have to time it well as their hours are a little obscure.

Great environment, outstanding waitress. The Bruschetta was fabulous, a little disappointed that they didn't have a homemade pasta salad. Wife said the Chicken Alfredo and potato soup were horrible.

This place was amazing! They have a Filet Mignon special available Thursday through the weekend. It was delicious. It is served with a side of potatoes in a bowl, mashed. It was delicious. If you are in the area, I recommend you try this place out!

Lunch buffet. Start there. Lively bartenders keep you with a wet whistle if that's what you're looking for. Their Shrimp and Grits and Cowboy Beans are required eating if you come!

Friendly staff good food small and quiet atmosphere. Great place to bring a first date or have your 50th wedding anniversary.
